We follow a strict cleaning schedule, using pet-safe disinfectants to sanitise play areas, toys, beds and grooming tools on a regular basis.
How do you handle aggressive behaviour in dogs?
If a dog exhibits aggressive behaviour, we will separate them from the group and notify you to discuss next steps. Where appropriate, this may include a recommendation for training to course-correct any behaviours that are not conducive to your dog being in a group setting.
What are your prices for daycare and grooming?
Grooming pricing is based on the size of the dog and service(s) requested. Please refer to our pricing page or contact us for details.
We offer a number of options for daycare which can also be found on the pricing page.
Do you offer discounts or packages for regular customers?
Yes, we offer both recurring memberships and discounted packages on daycare. Please talk to our staff if you are interested in either option and we can provide advice as to which will suit you best.
DAYCARE INFORMATION
Do I need to make a reservation, or do you accept walk-ins?
Grooming services require appointments to ensure availability. While walk-ins for daycare are welcome, space cannot always be guaranteed - we’d encourage you to call or book to ensure there is a space.
Do you offer a trial day?
We recommend scheduling a two hour session as an introduction to our daycare. This gives your dog enough time to settle in and helps us assess your dog’s temperament and whether they are suitable for daycare.
What vaccinations are required for daycare?
We require proof of an up-to-date C5 vaccination; this includes bordetella (kennel cough) and parainfluenza. Please bring your dog’s vaccination records during registration or upload them to your customer portal.
Can my dog attend daycare if they are not desexed?
We welcome un-desexed puppies between the ages of 5 months to 7 months. Once they reach 7 months it will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, depending on their behaviour, which will continue to be assessed. Please contact us for more details.
What happens if my dog gets sick or injured during daycare?
In the event of an illness or injury, we will contact you immediately. Please see our Liability page for more details. If necessary, we will transport your dog to the nearest veterinarian.
How do you ensure the safety of my dog?
Our facility is fully supervised by trained staff and ratios of staff to dogs are in line with industry best practice. Dogs are grouped based on size, temperament, and play style to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
Do you provide updates or photos of my dog during their daycare?
Yes, we send out a report card via Gingr at the end of each day which typically includes photos and/or videos. Report cards will be sent out by close of business each day, so please bear with us if you haven’t received your report card at the point you collect your dog - it will come through!
GROOMING INFORMATION
What grooming services do you provide?
Our grooming services include bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and more. We also offer specialty services including deshedding.
How long does a grooming session usually take?
The duration depends on the size of your dog and the services requested. Most grooming sessions take 1 to 3 hours and you will be provided with an approximate duration when you drop off your dog.
Can I stay and watch while my dog is being groomed?
For safety reasons, we do not allow owners to view the grooming area. Given grooms are a minimum of 1 hour in duration, we also recommend that owners leave our facility, so your dog doesn’t get stressed.
What if my dog has a specific medical condition or skin issue?
Please let us know about any medical conditions or skin issues during booking or when you drop off your dog. Our groomers are experienced in handling special cases and will tailor the service accordingly.
